WORK  EXPERIENCE
VFX REELS

Last 3 Employers
I've been fortunate to have begun my career in smaller companies since I have been able to accomplish and learn more in many diverse areas than I feel I would have if I had began in the bigger VFX houses.

1.DoubleEdgeEntertainment(2004-present) has been a very expansive experience for me. I was brought to Taiwan as Visual Effects Supervisor for the Taipei division of DoubleEdgeDigital. Here I furthered my experiences and lead our team to accomplish a variety of VFX work for TV and film. Lastly directing an upcoming 3D animated short film entitled theLittleMonk, which is a precursor to the full animated feature the company plans to make starting sometime in 2006.

2.UFO(2004) gave me the chance to work with a very creative team of artists and help complete a few cool creature films and really work out with the Ol compositing chops providing further growth and knowledge.

3.E=mc˛,inc.(1997-2004) where I got my start in this side of the computer graphics industry and I feel I learned things there the best way possible, ON THE JOB! I got to wear many many hats (taking shots from meetings, to set, to completion) and accomplished a diverse range of duties, as we were a full service facility that offered everything from 24 frame/motion graphics to visual effects.

Since I was a kid I've loved monsters, and still do today. I feel fortunate to have been able to take part in the creation of a few of them onscreen and really look forward to doing more. Here's a sample of some of the things I have done in this genre...

This reel goes a step further and is a little longer. It shows off some of the ways the shots were accomplished as well as showing more variety of my work.

VFX Cloning/Paint Reel

Since I have tackled a few labor intensive paint outs I figured I would collect a few of them and show what was filmed that you didn't see and what it took to get what is wanted for you to see.

Minotaur Completed
August 1, 2005
My latest VFX/creature-film work can be seen in the upcoming film Minotaur due out in 2006 from Lions Gate Films.

.

Working closely with director Jonathan English, David Kuklish and I were given the task as Visual Effects Supervisors to realize Jonathan's vision in his new and truly horrific telling of this classic mythological tale. Working closely to adhere to his vision, we accomplished what I believe will thrill audiences when it's the seen in 2006!
